Adam D. Portnoy
Managing Trustee and President
Mr. Portnoy has been our President since 2011 and served as one of our Managing Trustees since 2006. Previously, Mr. Portnoy served as our Executive Vice President from 2003 to 2006. Mr. Portnoy also serves on the Boards of Hospitality Properties Trust, Senior Housing Properties Trust, Government Properties Income Trust, Select Income REIT and the RMR Funds. Mr. Portnoy currently serves on the Board of
Governors for the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts
(NAREIT). He is also a member of the Board of Trustees at Occidental College. Prior to 2003, Mr. Portnoy held positions as a banker and venture capitalist with the International Finance Corp., a member of the World Bank Group, ABN AMRO and Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette.
John C. Popeo
Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Popeo has been our Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer since 1999. Mr. Popeo oversees all of CWH's accounting and financial reporting activities. Mr. Popeo has held numerous positions with CWH and its affiliated companies since 1997. Prior to 1997, Mr. Popeo held several financial positions at other real estate companies, including The Beacon Companies and First Winthrop Corporation. Mr. Popeo is a certified public accountant.
David M. Lepore
Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Lepore has been our Senior Vice President since 1999 and our Chief Operating Officer since 2008. Mr. Lepore is responsible for all leasing and tenant relations activities, property operations and asset management at CWH. Mr. Lepore has held numerous positions with CWH and its affiliated companies since 1992. Prior to 1992, Mr. Lepore worked for The Beacon Companies. Mr. Lepore is a member of the Building Owners and Management Association (BOMA) and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). Mr. Lepore is also a certified Real Estate Property Administrator.
Vern D. Larkin
Director of Internal Audit
Mr.
Larkin has been our director of internal audit since 2012. Mr. Larkin
was employed previously by Five Star Quality Care, Inc. as Vice
President, General Counsel and Secretary. Prior to that, Mr. Larkin
practiced law at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP
specializing in corporate securities, merger and acquisitions, corporate
governance and other transactional matters for more than 12 years.
Jennifer B. Clark
Secretary
Ms. Clark has been our Secretary since 2008. Ms. Clark supervises legal affairs affecting CWH. Prior to 1999, Ms. Clark was a Partner at the law firm of Sullivan & Worcester LLP.
